Q.Can a PV Solar system be put on any house?
A. No, not all
properties are suitable. Thatch roofs for example or some listed buildings. it may be possible to mount an aray differently
though, for example ground mounted or on an outbuilding/garage.
Q.Does my roof have to be south facing?
A.No,
South, South East or South West is best, but roofs with other orientations can be used. we can give you an idea of the effect
of this at the site visit.
Q.Is the income guaranteed?
A. The Government has guaranteed the FITs payment for
25 years from the date of installation. The level will be reduced for new installations in 2012 but once your on the scheme
you stay on the tariff in place at the time you joined (currently 41.3p per unit produced).
Q. Is the output of
the panels guaranteed?
A. No, it is dependent on many factors such as overshading, roof pitch and orientation, but at

as possible.
